1. Avoid wearing too much
Makeup is meant to enhance features not bring negative attention to you. That’s what wearing an excessive amount makeup will do; it will bring you unwanted attention. Don’t wear an excessive amount of anything such as:
i) Eyeliner: dark, thick eyeliner will make you look overdone and will ruin the rest of your makeup.
ii) Mascara: too much makeup mascara looks fake and will flake. It looks especially bad if worn with thick eyeliner or dark blue eye eye shadow.
iii) Foundation: Make sure your foundation is the same color as your skin. Foundation is meant to protect and give the face a smooth look. The magic word is blend.
iv) Powder:The same holds true for powder – not too much. Also, be sure to blend your makeup so there are no obvious lineS
2. Lips
Apply lip liner to completely cover the lips, add color and your lipstick will stay on much longer. Make sure your lip liner doesn’t show. Also, your lip color should match your skin tone; wear cool colors if you have cool coloring and warm colors if you have warm coloring. If you want to make your lips look smaller, keep your liner on the inside of your lips. However, if you decide to make your lips look larger, going outside the natural outline of you lips is a mistake. This can look quite messy and unnatural.
3. Appropriate makeup
Wear makeup that is appropriate for the occasion. If you are going to the beach you shouldn’t wear the same or as much makeup as you would if you were going dancing. Also, when you are in daylight your makeup should be a lighter than when you are out for the evening.
4. Too little or no makeup
Some women don’t wear makeup because they are not sure how to use it and are afraid of being overdone. If you are unsure, start will light colours in your shade. Start slowly and add one product at a time. Maybe start with foundation, add mascara, blush or lipstick. If you are not used to wearing makeup, using a lot a first may be a little an excessive amount for you, so start slowly. The bottom line is a little is better than none. If you are still unsure seek professional advice.
5. Overall look
When your makeup is completed it should look natural. That means avoiding colours that clash. If you have dark skin and hair you will look better in darker shades; light colours will make you look washed out. If your hair and skin tone are light, light colours will look better on you. Dark makeup will make you look older and harsh. If you have oily skin, first use oil control moisturizer and foundation. Then be sure to wear loose powder, keeping pressed powder with you for touch ups.
6. Hair color
Your hair color should also be in harmony with your skin. If you have dark hair and you want to add color, keep it close to the same shade. If you have light hair, use light colors. As you age your skin will lighten, so should your hair color. One last thing about hair color – if you do color you hair be sure you keep it up, don’t let your roots show.
7. One last thing
Keep makeup looking fresh all day by doing regular touch ups. Don’t let your makeup fade or crease. Smile!!!

You may be someone out there that would like to change how they look and are considering getting the kind of contact lenses either known as cosmetic colored contacts, fashion contact lenses or even as non corrective colored contacts. This article will discuss them and tell you how to go about getting them.
Probably the first thing to discuss is what they are. They are like normal contact lenses but there is a ring of color in them which makes the iris of your eye a different color. There is a hole in the middle where you pupil shows through. Well, it is not really a hole but a clear space and it is fairly wide because your pupils do get bigger or smaller, depending how much light they need to let in.
When we are talking about colored contacts, you have to think about which kind you want to get but that will depend on the color of your eyes now. People with dark colored eyes will need to get opaque colored contacts while people with light colored eyes could get them also or go with enhancement tint lenses. What the opaques do is totally block out the color of your eyes so that a new color is seen. With enhancement lenses, some of your normal eye color does show through.
Some colored contacts do vision correction and some do not. If you currently wear contact lenses, then you can just simply order your next pair as colored. If you do not need vision correction, then the kind you want are called non corrective colored contacts since they do not change your vision at all.
If you are wondering if you need a prescription, even for the non corrective kind, then you might be right in thinking that you need one. In countries like the USA, Canada and UK, there are laws about how contact lenses are actually medical devices and so the only way you can get them is with a prescription from an optometrist.
When you do get your colored contacts, there are some things you should know. First, you will need to take care of them just like normal contact lenses. Always have clean hands when handling them – and make sure when you dry your hands, you don’t use a tissue that leaves behind small fibers on your hands. Getting one of those in your eyes really hurts, believe me. And then do not share contact lenses with anyone else, even if you think you have washed them very well. You could get an eye infection. Not fun.
Colored contacts without prescription are popular now and there are many people out there wearing them. You see them on TV, in movies and also with Halloween costumes. We invite you to find out more today before attempting to order them.

The goal of a youthful and attractive appearance have long been sought after by women, always at a lower cost and more convenient method. One aspect is the effort to create the image of larger and deeper eyes via lush, dark, lengthy eyelashes, a sign of beauty desired for centuries. Some women do crazy things like wear white feather eyelashes. Other times a number of products, such as eye shadows, mascaras, and eyeliners, are used in the effort to create this appearance, but many are getting fed up with these inconveniences.
As a result, a number of other options have emerged over the years, including eyelash extensions, treatments to spur eyelash growth, and tinting and perming for eyelashes. These approaches work well and are available to everyone who wants them, but they are relatively expensive and require regular, usually monthly maintenance.
Fortunately, there are a few lash growing products out there that can address all these issues. Some of them have been approved by the FDA, and with their help you can give your eyelashes the luster and volume you’ve always wanted them to have.
FDA approved treatments are simple, safe, and easy – no lash glues, no more synthetics, and there are no problematic side effects. Not only can such products benefit the appearance of your eyelashes, but it is all natural, and will also benefit the health of your new and improved lashes. These are prescription medications though, meaning that only those who are judged by a licensed physician as being able to receive the benefits from such treatment.
Application is simple, consisting only of using applicator brush similar to a mascara brush to place the FDA approved lash growing product on the upper eyelid once a day. Usually, the first effects of the medication become visible after 4 to 6 weeks, while the full results and benefits should be seen after about 16 weeks.
Lash growing products affect the lashes during their growth stage, by stimulating the roots of the hair follicles to make them healthier, bigger and longer over a period of time. Another advantage of such products is that they produce no side effects, so if any of the medication gets into your eyes you won’t experience any inflammation or irritation, or other discomfort. Such problems were commonly reported in other formulas previously used for growth and enhancement of eyelashes.
Talk to your doctor to see what an FDA approved lash growing product can do for you, as well as find more information about this great new way to enhance your eyelashes. With the help of your physician, you can determine whether or not you need such a product to make your eyelashes better than they are; it can really improve your look.
