Fortunately, the recipe book I received did not have the smell the other reviewer reported. I love CR Gibson products and this one does not disappoint. It has several tabbed dividers for various categories and the pocket pages are great for not getting spills on your recipes as you cook. It is exactly what I had hoped for and need to get some extra pocket pages so I can fill it up!

What I love about this book is that it is relatively small and holds 80 recipes (with additional card and cover purchase). One of the best features for me is that you can write on the front and back of the card. Sometimes it is hard to fit recipes on the front side of a card. I bought 3 of this brand for my children so I could give them their favorite childhood recipes. All of the covers were different but all were made out of paper. I liked them so much I thought I would do the same for myself. I bought this particular book for myself. Only problem is it is made out of some sort of vinyl and has a horrible odor to it. I have let it air outside in 100+ degrees and it still has the same strong odor. The smell even gets on my hands when I touch it. I saw one in a store the other day and smelled it and it had the exact same problem. Mine is going in the garbage. All of that work down the drain. I will look for a new book (same brand) with a paper cover and start re-writing all of my recipes on new cards.
