Fiber One Bars Oats & Chocolate, 2-Count Bars
Fiber one bars actually don’t have real fiber. They contain inulin (from chicory root) which is technically fiber because the body can’t digest it. Unfortunately fiber is defined by anything that can’t be broken down easily. These bars do not contain REAL fiber. (The real fiber usually found in whole grain breads and cereals) So if it says “chicory root” or “inulin” in the ingredients, you can be sure you aren’t eating the fiber your body can actually use. So if you want lots of sugar and fat without fiber, this bar is for you.

I am very pleased with the fiber one bars. I got a good price for a lot of them. They will last a long time. Not many calories and 35% of daily fiber need.

Let me start by saying that all of these fiber bars that actually taste good aren’t the absolute greatest source of fiber because they have chocolate and nuts so they have some saturated fat. I have tried the FiberOne and the Kellogs fiber bars and I have to say that as far as eating something that will satisfy your chocolate craving (but has a significant amount of fiber) the Kellogs fiber bars taste much better.
If you want to get your daily fiber quickly, buy acacia fiber powder and mix it into some yogurt. Two level tables spoons of acacia fiber gives you 50% of your daily fiber (10g). Heather’s Tummy fiber is the best brand and Amazon sells it. Also, acacia fiber does not create gas, bloating, or diarrhea.

Very satisfied with the product. Love the freshness, price, and fast shipping. I am also very statisfied with this seller and the ease of getting in touch with them if it is necessary. I am set up to have monthly shipments of this product. I like that they send an email before the product is to be shipped so I can let them know if I want to change my order or cancel for that month or altogether. That shows me honesty and integrity. Two things I look for doing online shopping. I have been burned a few times online and feel comfortable with this seller. For that reason, I’ll continue doing business with them.
