Queen Helene Cholesterol Hair Conditioning Cream – 15 Oz Jar

I used to love this product! It kept my naturally worn hear bouncy and unclumped. I ordered four bottles online recently. What a disappointment. It doesn’t work any more. My hair clings toghether in strands instead of staying fluffy and loose. I don’t know what they’ve done; it is a different color and a different consistency. Why can’t they leave a great product alone? I wouldn’t give this new formula even one star. It isn’t worth the bottle it’s packaged in now. Steer Clear.

I recently went through a bone infection that required high doses of antibiotics. The side effects included hair loss, which I had lots of. What hair that was left on my head was super brittle and dull. I bought this product, after using tons of expensive stuff. Immediately my hair was shinier. I used it three times in the first week and my hair stopped falling out. It felt softer, as did my scalp, and bounced. The color came back.I use it once a week now. I put it on in the shower after shampooing and leave it on, putting a shower cap over it for about an hour, then I wash it out. It is an awesome deal at this price!

I purchased this and used it once, I still have it sitting in my bathroom, because i haven’t used it ever since. You will be better off plastering your hair with a thick layer of Vaseline and just letting it sit on your head. The petroleum and mineral oil in the product are the culprits. It hardened my hair and made it break, my hair felt hard and yucky even after i washed it off..Never again will i use it!!

This stuff is great. I bleached my hair so I could dye it pink and the bleach made my hair pretty dry. I used this stuff about a week after dying my hair and it worked great. It doesn’t even feel like I bleached my hair. I followed the directions exactly as stated.

Obviously someone didn’t know how to use this product. I am a Caucasian female who’s been using cholesterol treatments in my hair since I went to Beauty School. (19 years ago) Cholesterol will not make your hair break off. Thats crazy. While it is specifically formulated for African American hair, it will work on any hair type. After a treatment, your hair might be limp for a few days but thats because it’s a deep conditioner. That wears off after a few days. What you’re left with is marvelous hair that feels so luscious. It leaves my hair so very soft and shiny! Queen Helene products are old standards in hair products and they work.
Cholesterol treatments are a hair mask. They are really thick, true. Apply a good amount of the product to dry hair, work into your hair and scalp especially, cover with a cap, and get under a dryer for about an hour. If you don’t have a hooded dryer, get out in the sun or at least keep warm. The heat from your head will activate the product. I’ve even left the product in my hair overnight with great success. I’ve got mid back length hair thats really thick. My scalp can get dry too, so this product really helps there too. A 15 oz jar will give me about 2 or 3 treatments at most. Do these treatments once every six months for best results. The cost? Cheap as all get out!
I actually did a video about Queen Helene Cholesterol in my videos on youtube. You can watch it here: [..]
