I bought two of these sunglasses. The styling is great, they are light weight and the bifocal reader is conveniently positioned. The bolts or screws that attached the arms to the lense tend to loosen up. When tighted, it tends to crack the lense. Overall, I would purchase more of these sunglass readers. I like the amber lense over the smoke lense.

I tried the Coppertone Smoke Reader on a recent road trip from NC to Charleston,SC and what a great product!! I have now replaced my Ray Ban sunglasses with them. Not only did they provide a reduced glare and sun brightness but with a glance moving only my eye’s down I can now read the complete instrument panel on the cars dash. They are so good I’m going to purchase a second pair.

Item arrived promptly – I appreciate that part of the transaction but the magnified part of this lens is overly obvious. It appeared more subtle in the picture. I would have preferred the bulge be on the inside as opposed to the outside.

These glasses are very lightweight, which means two things 1) they are light to wear and therefore fairly comfortable and 2) they will break/bend easily.
I have owned a pair of Dewalt safety bifocal sunglasses for several months Dewalt DPG59-220C Reinforcer Rx-Bifocal 2.0 Smoke Lens High Performance Protective Safety Glasses with Rubber Temples and Protective Eyeglass Sleeve. I lost (or hopefully misplaced) them, so I decided to buy another pair of the exact same type plus this pair from Select-A-Vision. I do like the Dewalt pair better.
The reading lens area of the Dewalt glasses is better placed and they just generally seem to be of better quality. I tend to have to tilt my head back more (or lower the glasses) with the Select-A-Vision as opposed to the Dewalt due to this bifocal placement on the lens. I use both pair for driving and nothing else. They help me to see the speedometer, radio, GPS, etc better. It is also nice to be able to check my Blackberry quickly and easily when sitting at a red light (I know, bad habit).
Once I got used to wearing bifocal sunglasses when driving it was hard to go back to regular sunglasses.
I paid a bit more for the Dewalt, but they will be my primary pair and I will use these as a back-up pair should I happen to get separated from the Dewalts again. They are good value for the price and I like their appearance better, plus I prefer their lighter lens shade, but I think the Dewalt brand is worth paying a bit more for purely from the quality/functionality angle.
