I’m allergic to shellfish and crustaceans so cannot take the more widely-available glucosamine, which is made from the shells of these creatures. I was happy to find this source, and my knees are happy about it too!

Vegans and vegetarians need an alternate source of Glucosamine, and this is it. I am not sure how it compares to fish or bovine based Glucosamine, but an alternative of this type is a joy and relief for the vegans/vegetarians.
